Our Red Blend is as dark and spicy as a mysterious stranger, yet somehow as approachable as an old friend. A perfect companion for your postcurfew adventures.

2017 VINTAGE: Heavy winter rains brought an end to the five-year California drought. It also provided ample water for vines to recover. The vintage was punctuated by a few heat events, the most extreme falling over Labor Day weekend, jump starting the harvest. Most early varieties, like Pinot Noir, were picked early. Cool weather that followed allowed later ripening varieties to hang on a little longer and reach full maturity. While yields were lower, quality does not disappoint.

WINEMAKER NOTES: Dark red fruit – sweet cherry and black berry. This is layered with tea leaves, cocoa, and a touch of oak. The wine has a nice structure, medium body, with soft tannins and a smooth finish.
